Pandemic of Love
Seeing the economic devastation cause by the Covid-19 Pandemic, Jay joined his incredible friend Shelly Tygielski as Board Advisor to her Pandemic of Love. To date, Pandemic of Love has raised over $50M for those in need and Shelly was honored as a CNN Hero.
When We Band Together
Jay is thrilled to be on the Board of his friend Xander Schultz’s organization When We Band Together. They provide those living through the difficult experience of being displaced with places of safety, happiness and purpose.
The CDO Club and Summit
Jay is Global Strategic Partner, & Director, Canada for the CDO Club & Summit, the world’s first, largest, and most powerful community of C-suite digital leaders. Its mission is to educate the business world and public at large on the fast moving and sometimes confusing evolution of transformational technologies. The CDO Summit addresses the challenges and opportunities arising from big data, the cloud, digital disruption, and social and mobile media.
Move The Dial
An advocate for human rights and women’s rights for the past two decades, including through his internationally renowned annual report on women in corporate leadership, Jay is a Board Member of Move The Dial and co-leads its Global Council. #movethedial ’s mission is to increase female participation and leadership in tech around the world.
The Marvelle Koffler Breast Centre at Mount Sinai Hospital
Jay is Co-Chair of the Breast Cancer Cabinet at The Mount Sinai Hospital. The team includes Tiana Koffler and Dr. Pamela Goodwin (at left), a world-renowned medical oncologist specializing in breast cancer. Jay had been on the Board of Governors of the Mount Sinai Hospital Foundation for years but focused his efforts on helping to battle breast cancer after experiencing it in his family.
The Sick Kids Foundation
Jay is proud to be a part of the Tech and Advisory Council at the Sick Kids Foundation. This marries two great passions of his, frontier technologies and the welfare of children.
One Young World
Jay was invited onto the Board of One Young World when it came to Canada in 2016. OYW is the preeminent global forum for young leaders aged 18-30 and gathers the brightest young leaders from around the world, empowering them to make lasting connections and develop solutions to some of the world's most pressing issues.
Canadian Music Week
Jay’s passion for song writing and elevating the music scene in Canada and around the world led to him being invited to Co-Chair Canadian Music Week in 2017.
Canadian Friends of Tel Aviv University
Inspired by an epic trip to Israel with Toronto Mayor John Tory (at left) and a leading tech delegation from Toronto, and particularly impressed by the innovation he saw happening at Tel Aviv University, Jay agreed to join the board of Canadian Friends of Tel Aviv University
UJA Genesis
Motivated to mentor and inspire the next generation of leaders in the Jewish community both in terms of Philanthropy and Entrepreneurship, Jay joined the Board of UJA Genesis.
